About W.A.I.T.S

Working across Birmingham, the Women Acting In Todays Society is a women's educational charity established in 1992.
WAITS empowers women from a wide range of educational, social, ethnic and cultural backgrounds to take the first steps to enable them to build a secure and sustainable future.
Our Aims:

AIM 1 To enable women disadvantaged by low self-esteem, status, poverty and domestic abuse to take a positive step forward in their lives and become role models in their family and their community

AIM 2 To enable women with ideas and leadership potential to work with other women who could benefit from their time, skills and experience

AIM 3 To enable women to influence policies, decisions and service provision in order to improve their quality of life
