International Women’s Day 2015
International Women’s Day is always an important event in the calendar of any organisation that supports women in the broadest sense. In 2015 WAITS has had a very special reason to celebrate with our #WAITS4Women Campaign and High Tea fundraiser initiatives.
WAITS Visit to Ismek, Istanbul 2012
During our time in Istanbul we were involved in working with Ismek delegates to examine and test the vocational engagement and training practices used to support women learners back into education and training.
Event Report: Waiting To Exhale
On 5 October 2012 WAITS in conjunction with Neo 2 Soul Promotions, held a fundraising Evening to raise funds for Iona House. WAITS seven bed accommodation for women experiencing Domestic Abuse, Homelessness and Offending.
